Built in 1900 as a parking garage, it also became the home for Lewis Merlo Concrete just after the earthquake of 1906. Merlo initially was to repair sidewalks, because of their quality and growing expertise, their list of clients grew also. Did you notice the horse head at the top of the building, just below the peak?
