Description
Begonia is a perennial herb of the genus Begonia. Rhizomes nearly globose, stems erect, up to 60 cm tall, longitudinally angular. Stem leaves alternate, leaf blade contour wide oval to oval sides not equal, top brown green, often red, underneath pale, purple red, palate to lanceolate, floral scape, glabrous; flowers more pink, bracts oblong, apex blunt, fall; anthers obovoid, ovary oblong, capsule. The fruit is pendulous, its outline is oblong, and its seed is oblong and has a large number of hazel. It blooms in July and begins in August.
