Perennial herb, up to 1.5 m tall, green, hairless, and waxy white. Corolla is mostly red, outer ring degenerate stamens 2-3, bright red; lip lanceolate, bent; capsule, long ovate, green, flowers, fruit period 3-12 months. It is a common flower - watching plant in the subtropics and the tropics. The sun is warm and sufficient, and it is not resistant to cold. The soil is not strict enough to grow best in loose and well drained sandy soil, and also suitable for the growth of fertile clay soil.
