Description
In April 1928, general Feng Yuxiang, in commemoration of the soldiers who died in hundreds of battles, approved 130 thousand yuan of funds, 400 mu in the sand and sand pervaded and weeds, to build the tomb of the northern expedition, and to build an ancestral temple. The project was supervised and supervised by Xu Xiangyun, traffic commander, and was completed in the autumn of 1928. The cemetery is about 600 meters long from north to south, 410 meters wide and 246 thousand square meters wide. In 1994, the monument to the northern expedition was built on the site of the northern expedition. The body of the stele was nearly 18 meters high. The front was the 10 golden characters of the & x22;perpetuation of the Northern Expedition& x22;, written by Marshal Nie Rongzhen, and the inscription of the monument was made up of the Northern Expedition.
