Title
The Hearing and Speech Center of San Francisco. #119062504
Description
Hearing and speaking are normally considered as two separate things, by people who have no problem doing both of them. The inability of doing either of them has been recorded going back to the ancients. When The Hearing Society of The Bay Area was started in 1917, it would develop into the leading Bar Area center for communications difficulty and hearing loss. This duo role was achieved in part when it merged, in 2005, with the Speech and Hearing Center. With continued changes in both technology and publics perception of speech and hearing loss, this center has been at the front of helping people live normal, full lives.
