Title
Former Juvenile Court and Detention Center. #119203982
Description
When this San Francisco Landmark building first opened in 1916, it started out as the juvenile court and detention center. It had also been the Department of Social Services, pretending to try and get the cities unemployed residents jobs, before finally becoming homes for the cities homeless veterans. This was the combined effort of not just the city, but of the groups Swords to Plowshares and Chinatown Community Development.
