Description
It is a genus of Hydrangea of the family of the family arboda. Shrubs, 1-4 m tall; stems often emit a majority of radial branches at the base and form a round brush; branches are cylindrical. Leaves papery or nearly leathery, obovate or broadly elliptic. Umbrella shaped cymes nearly globose, 8-20 cm in diameter, with short total pedicels, dense flowers, pink, pale blue or white; petals long 3-3.5 mm long. Capsule immature, long gyro; seeds are unripe. The flowering period is 6-8 months.
