Ancient Individual Washings Forming A Pattern Stock Photography

In the Guipuzcoan town of Azpeitia, in the Basque Country, there are these old public laundries. Unlike other collective laundries, in which the washing area surrounds the common pond filled with water, in these each person had their own washing area divided into two: the washing area, with the surface inclined towards the water container soapy, and the area for rinsing or storing clean water, a large tub-like container that was filled through the individual tap with the water from the community pond. In this image you can see a detail of one of the washing areas, forming a pattern.
