The Beautiful Meandering Cuckmere River In East Sussex, England Stock Photography

The Cuckmere River winds its way in several meanders across the chalk plain of the Cuckmere Valley - a home to many birds and other wildlife. The river ends in the sea as a developing salt marsh, further increasing the range of wildlife. The area is very popular with walkers - and for part of the way a concrete track has been built so that mothers can push prams and people with wheelchairs can see the lovely landscape.
