Description
This famous lighthouse was in danger of falling five hundred feet down the chalk cliffs of Beachy Head near Eastbourne. The owners decided to save it by having a set of `railway tracks` placed underneath it to slide it back from the cliff edge. So the whole building was jacked up and successfully moved.
