Stonecrop lat. Sedum acre caustic is a small glabrous perennial plant with slender rootstock and numerous erect stems, covered with small thick leaves. Sedum is very poisonous, used in medicine. In nature grows near the river, on the shallows or in a pine forest. The leaves are oval, the flowers look like a star, only yellow. Blooms from late spring to mid-summer. The plant is 10 cm high and covers the soil tightly. This type of stonecrop grows only in the open.
