Description
Built in 1886 of redwood and fir for William Haas, this home withstood the earthquake of both 1906 and 1989, with only miner damage. After three generations of the Haas-Lillienthal family lived here, it is now open to the public as a museum. since 1972. It is the only period home open, with furniture still intact. Just the third floor attic is the Heritage office. Top of the stairs to the inside.
