The picture was taken on the South Coast of South Africa. The name of the place is Jagersfontein just a few kilometres from Stilbaai. The day was sunny and overcast, the tide was high and this area presented some really nice footage due to the rocks upfront, fairly deep water in the middle followed by rocks in the back. Taking these images presents some extra challenges to keep dry. The wave tends to break on the back rocks as shown which then cause a stormy rippling of water in the middle section. This comes to rest against the rocks in the front.
