»ywiecki, probably from the 18th century. According to various sources, the inn dates back to the eighteenth century, but perhaps it was built much earlier, even in the sixteenth century. The founders of JeleÃ
âºnia were the Wallachian shepherds and it was they who probably built the object, including the entire village the first church was established here in 1584 .. Originally, the inn was a forester`s lodge, built with a cattle-house standing nearby until today now a kindergarten, only later assumed the role of an inn. The square between the tavern and the church was a popular market place on an important merchant route connecting Ã
»ywiec with Orawa fragment of the amber route, and therefore the place was chosen thoughtfully. The ceiling in the central hall, according to the applications, was moved from the Cloth Hall in Krakow in the 19th century. It has the date 1774, which is the main contribution to the dating of the tavern just in the 18th century. In the nineteenth century, a general renovation of the inn was carried out along with its extension. At that time, a very characteristic porch and rear wing were added. During the Second World War, an artillery shell hit the inn, seriously damaging it, which necessitated another renovation in the post-war years.
