Title
The historic Carpinteria Valley Baptist Church, 2. #122813632
Description
Built originally in Santa Barbara, and as a Methodist Church, in 1892 it was cut into three sections, each loaded onto a horse-drawn flatbed, and moved twelve miles to the current location. Even the stained glass memorials to prominent pioneres, survived the trip, and the years, in fairly good shape. This is one of the last remaining, historic landmarks of the community.
