Description
Scotland shepherd dog, commonly known as Su mu, is also called Collie. Body features: the head is wedge-shaped, smooth and clean outline, not pointed kiss, smooth and round, the jaw is strong, for the scissors bite, nose tip is usually black, eyes are not large, almond-shaped, dark brown; flat skull, eyebrows are mostly arched; ears smaller, folded ears and standing ears. The neck is long, erect, with a slightly arched neck and back, heavily furred, with a chest as deep as the elbow, deep ribs, a firm back, slightly arched waist, slightly bent back, slightly retracted abdomen, tail long and drooping, slightly curved at rest, tail lifting and swinging, limbs straight, oval feet, beautiful pace, slightly jumping, running big. Males weigh 27-34 kg, shoulder height 61-66 cm; weigh 22.7-27 kg, shoulder height 56-61 cm. The dog is strong, responsive, aristocratic, intelligent, loyal, and not aggressive. It has a well-developed sense of protecting its owners and children, but it is stubborn and lazy and needs careful training. For centuries the dog has been an excellent shepherd, and is still used as a shepherd, guard dog, ambulance dog, guide dog and companion dog.
