Description
The Contrie dolmen is the most interesting preserved prehistoric monument in Mayenne, France. The covered alley of the Contrie is 7 metres long and 1.50 metres wide. It was a collective burial site. You can see the dolmen every day of the year with a simple stroll.The covered walkway of the Contrie, formerly known as `Cave-Au-Diable`, is located in the small forest of Berenger, a few steps from a small stream, near the Bizeuls. It is 7m long and 1.50m wide. Built around 4000 BC
