Description
Waves occur on any free flowing body of water as the action of wind blowing over them. Being able to travel thousands of miles, they can be small ripples to over a hundred feet in height. nThe physics of wave formation is very complicated and complex, but the simple process of watching or listening to waves have a calming effect on the brain. This is from the rhythmic, rolling action of the waves. You can see how the churning action picks up the sand as the waves go back out.
