Ostrage Herd Stock Photo

The picture was taken on the South Coast of South Africa. I was on my way to the sea when I came across these ostriches. This was a large herd and they were all fairly young. I wanted to capture the essence of their social behaviour. They were congregating together, looking at me and opening their beaks. It provided a great opportunity to capture the herds social behaviour and that is what is depicted here.
