Description
What may look like an abandoned thrift store is a unique thrift store for artists and San Francisco teachers and students with a creative bent. Growing out of a need when Local San Francisco artist were placed in local schools, but with no budget for supplies, it was also realized that many businesses were throwing away literally tons of still very good material every year that they just had no use for. Out of this, in 1976, grew Scrap, to keep all of this material out of landfill, the equivalent of 25 school busses of material is now kept out of landfill annually, and keep creative artists and teachers in supplies.
