Geological exposure of the Devonian on the Oredezh River, in the north of Russia. The Oredezh River reveals interesting geological red-brown outcrops of sand and sandstone of the Middle Devonian Devonian - the fourth geological period of the Paleozoic era. They contain remains of petrified fauna. In the sediments there are fragments of Devonian cysteel and shellfish, as well as other animals.
