The White House is the name of a building in Rotterdam that for a while was the highest office building in Europe. In 1940 it was one of the few buildings in the city center that survived the bombing of Rotterdam. In the 1990s it was reduced as much as possible to its original state façades and roof. It was the first skyscraper of Rotterdam and is also considered by some to be the first skyscraper in Europe.
