Title
A row of commonly seen Dol hareubangs rock statues in Jeju Island, southern tip of South Korea #126806671
Description
These statues are widely considered to be gods offering both protection and fertility by the local islander. They are usually placed outside of gates for protection against demons. The faces always feature grinning expressions, bulging eyes without pupils, a long broad nose, and slight smile, and their hands rest on their bellies, one slightly above the other.
