Fall Begins At Eastatoe Falls #128294611
Description
Fall Begins At Eastatoe Falls The fog still lingers at the top of Eastatoe falls and Autumn begins to descend as red, orange, and yellow leaves lay at its feet. Eastatoe Falls is located on private property outside the town of Rosman North Carolina on hwy 178, and the owners of this property do not mind sharing their backyard with visitors. This waterfall is named after the Carolina parakeet extinct in 1918, the last surviving bird lived in captivity near the falls, but it`s name lives on. The Eastatoe is the Cherokee word for the Carolina parakeet. When I walked the trail to the falls I can hear parakeets chirping.
