The Salesforce Transit Center Opened AND Closed, 3. #128744030
Description
The San Francisco Salesforce Transit Center took seven years and $2.2 Billion to build, and about one month later to close for emergency repairs. While workers were installing ceiling paneling, they noticed a crack in a steal beam. Later the same day, another crack was discovered in a second beam. In the mean time, the portion of the building is being supported by monster versions of jacks much like what is used for working on cars. And after nearly a month of closer, no one seems certain of when it wil reopen.
