Mdina, in the island of Malta, is one of the most popularly visited places by travellers. It´s history traces back more than 4000 years. It´s on top of a hill overlooking large parts of Malta, rich in history and surrounded by bastion fortifications. There are a lot of centuries-old buildings well maintained throughout the ages.
