Description
Isola Madre Mother Island has a length of 330 m, 220 m wide. The botanical garden begins to acquire its present appearance at the beginning of the nineteenth century and is famous for its magnificent azaleas blooming in May with exotic plants harvested from different geographic regions on the planet: bananas, camels, eucalyptus, palms that can thrive thanks to the particularly soft microclimate of Lago Maggiore.
