Sign Warning About Shark Sighting Along Pacific Coast Stock Image

A bilingual sign English and Spanish warns people to keep out of the water due to a shark sighting along the Pacific Coast near San Diego. Shark encounters range from terrifying to loss of life, and seem to be on the rise. This may be partly due to the encroachment of human activity in to the natural habitat of sharks. Other environmental factors may also be impacting the movement of sharks and their normal feeding sources and behaviors.
