Bunches of tiny unripe Belonophore Coriacea hanging from branches with thick lush evergreen leaves. This is one of many species collectively commonly called hogberries, changunga, muruci, nanche, nance, chacunga, kraabu, savanna serrette, savanna serret, golden spoon, kraabu, and craboo. The tree of this fruit is of the Acerola family, Malpighiaceae, and Byrsonima genus. When ripe the fruit has a light green-brown color. Being of the same botanical family and genus, Coriacea, and B. Crassifolia are closely related.
