Description
Commemoration of 4 November 2018 - term the 1st world war The Day of Italian National Unity and the Armed Forces is an Italian national commemorative day. Established in 1919 to commemorate the Italian victory in the First World War, it is celebrated every 4th November, the date of the entry into force of the Villa Giusti armistice November 4, 1918, and the surrender of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. On November 4, 1918, the World War 1 ended - the Great War - an event that marked the beginning of the 1990s in a profound and indelible way and which led to radical political and social changes. The date, which celebrates the victorious end of the war, commemorates the signing of the armistice signed at Villa Giusti Padua with the Austro-Hungarian Empire and has become the day dedicated to the Armed Forces. In this day we intend to remember, in particular, all those who, even very young, have sacrificed the supreme good of life for an ideal of country and of attachment to duty: values âââ‰â¬Â¹Ã¢ââ‰â¬Â¹unchanged over time, for the soldiers of the time and those of today.
