This is a Fall picture of the South side of the historic Chicago Museum of Science and Industry in Jackson Park as seen through the Fall Foliage along the North Pond on a Clouds day located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. The structure was designed by Charles B. Atwood to serve as the Palace of Fine Arts in the 1893 Worldâââ‰â¢s Columbian Exposition, unlike the other building for the fair this building was constructed with a brick substructure under a plaster facade. In 1933 after renovations it was opened as the Museum of Science and Industry. The structure was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 1, 1995. This picture was taken on November 7, 2018.
