Description
Four rock cut seated figures of Ramses II flank the entrance to the Temple at Abu Simbel, Egypt. Ramses II built numerous monuments to himself throughout Nubia in what is now southern Egypt. Abu Simbel was dissassembled and raised to a new location when the Aswan High Dam created Lake Nasser.
