This is one of the three mountain ranges of volcanic origin in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It is located in the northwestern part of the island between the cities of Santiago del Teide, Los Silos, El Tank and Buenavista del Norte. The volcanic massif is broken by deep ravines, high cliffs and steep banks.
