On 1-19-2010 a gathering of protesters had a meeting on the steps of the Oregon State Capital building to protest the rising of taxes. They held signs and voiced their opinion about the government not hearing the people. It was a rainy day with little sunshine and blowing winds and it was cold and miserable outside where the protesters were, while the politicians stayed in their warm offices and looked out the window laughing at the protesters. The meeting took place from 11:oo am to 3:oo pm.
