A view of the Bastion Fort above Riva Del Garda. #133493046
Description
Bastione di Riva is a fortified complex which dominates the ancient walled city of Riva. The entire defense system was built between 1507 and 1508 to defend the city and the adjacent territory, in the conditions of the imminent war between the Republic of Venice and the European powers. At the strictly historical and architectural value, the complex of the Bastion combines a strong landscape value, given its high position that offers a broad view of the lake, the town of Riva and the entire Alto Garda basin. Riva del Garda, Italy, Europe.
