Water Spraying and Forming Ice at the Dam #134408135
Description
The Bear River Dam in Grace, Idaho has a pipe that transports water from the dam along the river to nearby farms. When the temperatures drop below freezing, the water that leaks from the pipes form cool ice sculptures as it sprays from the pipe into nearby brush. This photo was taken in late Autumn with colorful foliage next to a nearly dry riverbed, with the tunnel and bridge structures against a background of farmland and countryside.
