Description
The Jaguar XK 150 FHC Fixed Head Coupé and DHC Drop Head Coupé models, like its predecessors, had a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3442 cc and 193 or 213 hp. The rear wheels were powered by a four-speed gearbox, overdrive as extra,. A BorgWarner automatic transmission was also available on request. The car reached a top speed of 210 km/h. From 1958, the XK 150 S model was available. Its engine was taken to 254bhp with a third carburetor and accelerated the vehicles to 215 km/h. From the beginning of 1959, all variants were also delivered with a displacement of the displacement drilled on 3781 cc and 223 hp, the 3.8 S with 267 hp top speed 215 km/h. The XK 150 was one of the first vehicles equipped as standard with four disc brakes. In March 1961, the XK 150 model was replaced by the Jaguar E-Type.
