Description
Johnson Shut-ins State Park in Reynolds County, Missouri. Areas with weather worn rocks surrounded by water is a recreational spot for Missourians. The park experienced a huge disaster when a hydroelectric plant on the top of a mountain broke allowing billions of gallons of water to strip the land bare. Many boulders were relocated because of the scouring of the land. The boulders stand as a testament to the disaster. It is a popular place to swim among boulders.
