Grenoble Bastille cable car in France #136430592
Description
Since 1934, an iron thread had linked Grenoble to the top of Bastilla. With the famous bubbles, with their transparent walls, you can make a journey through the airs, with the city under you feet, down below. At the back in the center the Basilica of St. Joseph. The first Saint-Joseph church was consecrated in 1697 in a suburb of the city, outside the walls of Lesdiguières. The church was demolished in the early 1920s and rebuilt in the same place but with an entrance facing the Place de Metz. This basilica was consecrated on 1 January 1924.
