Description
Two pale green color Annoma squamosa, also known as sweetsop, and sugar-apple suspended by stems from green leafy branches of their tree in filtered sunlight that cast shadows of the plantââ¬â¢s leaves on the fruits groovy skin. The larger fruit is mature, the smaller one is young. This fruit is extremely sweet, and so where it derives the name sweetsop, or sugar-apple. The fruit is of spherical-conical shape with segmented pegs, and belongs to the Annonaceae family, of the Magnoliales order, an Angiosperms.
