TheÃÂ Dwarkadhish temple, also known as theÃÂ Jagat MandirÃÂ and occasionally spelledÃÂ Dwarakadheesh, is aÃÂ Hindu templeÃÂ dedicated to the godÃÂ Krishna, who is worshiped here by the nameÃÂ Dwarkadhish, or & x27;King of Dwarka& x27;. The temple is located atÃÂ Dwarka,ÃÂ Gujarat, India. The main shrine of the 5-storied building, supported by 72 pillars, is known as Jagat Mandir or Nija Mandir, archaeological findings suggest it to be 2,200 - 2,000 years old.[1][2][3]ÃÂ Temple was enlarged in the 15th- 16th century.[4][5]ÃÂ The Dwarkadhish Temple is aÃÂ PushtimargÃÂ temple, hence it follows the guidelines and rituals created byÃÂ VallabhacharyaÃÂ and Vitheleshnath.
