Known commonly as a wolf spider #137430596
Description
Known commonly as a wolf spider, it has a sturdy structure, slightly accentuated sexual dimorphism, and a length of over 7 centimeters. The name derives from the Greek ûÃÂúÿÃâ, lýkos ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹meaning & x22;wolf& x22;, due to their robustness, agility, ability to ambush hunting, as well as for the acute sight. Besides a very acute sight, they also have an accentuated tactile sensitivity. The legs are eight, divided into seven segments, at the end of each of them there is a small claw. They live in a rather lonely way and hunt alone or chasing their prey for short distances or, above all, tending ambushes.
