Lalla Zohra was the daughter of a slave and religious leader. The legend tells that Lalla Zohra turn into a dove at night and flies over the city of Marrakesh. Standing at 77 meters tall, the high minaret can be seen from almost everywhere. It was built during the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty in Marrakesh, Morocco.
