Grenoble is a city in southeastern France, at the foot of the French Alps where the river Drac joins the Isère, which flows in the front. The bronze statue of Chevalier Bayard, a knight `without fear and without reproach`, is situated at Saint-Andrew square. At the left the Palace of the Parliament of the province of Dauphine, built in the XV-XVI centuries. Until 1790, the Palace became the seat of provincial Parliament, and then until 2002, this building was the Palace of justice, containing the courts of appeals, civil, commercial and jury.
