Monument Au General De Beylie, Victor Hugo Square, Grenoble Editorial Image

Grenoble is a city in southeastern France, at the foot of the French Alps where the river Drac joins the Isère, which flows in the front. Monument au General de Beylie is a stone column with a bronze relief portrait of Léon de Beylié, situated at Square Victor Hugo. In front of the columns stands a woman paying homage. At the background the Roman Catholic Saint-Louis Church, consecrated in 1699; it has been the first parish church of the new city.
