Description
Tea rose was brought to Europe from China in the XIX century. The name of this variety was due to the aroma inherent exclusively in roses of this species. The smell of tea roses remotely resembles tea, and China is known to be the birthplace of tea. Tea rose was brought from China with tea on ships, popularly called `tea clippers`. One version interprets the appearance of the name of the tea rose that is not fully disclosed flower of a rose like a Chinese tea bowl. This is the only variety of roses from which you can prepare a wonderful tea drink.
