Pete hit .304 in 1971.The pitcher was Rod Bryant, 7-10 in 1971, whos best major league year was 1973 when he won 24 games and lost 12. He was 3rd in the Cy Young voting behind Tom Seaver and Mike Marshall. The catcher was Dietz who batted .252 in 1971. The year before he hit .300 and made his only all star team. The home plate umpire was Satch Davidson. During his career Davidson was behind the plate for Hank Aaron`s 715th home run which broke Babe Ruth`s lifetime record. And he called game 6 of the 1975 World series in which Carlton Fisk hit a game winning home run .n
