Young Branch Of The Terminalia Catappa Almond Tree Royalty-Free Stock Photo

A branched foliage of the Terminalia Catappa tree better known as Malabar-almond or just almond tree. The cluster of leaves comprises mostly of new young pale green, to yellow-green laminas of complex vein network. From petiole to apex runs the mid rib, or primary vein. Branching from either sides of the primary vein are secondary veins that are evenly spaced throughout the length of the leaf and runs parallel to each other towards the margin where the branch to join with each other forming a closed network. As the light of day bounces off the new translucent leaves the outline of the other beneath is made visible. This tree is mainly cultivated for use as ornamental. On the ground are scattered rubbles made up of old tire, dried sticks of broken branches, and plastic bottle.
