Description
It was founded in 1733. Over time, the monastery became one of the largest in the country and the most important monastic center with 20 churches and more than 300 monks. In religious ceremonies often involved more than 1000 monks. The monastery housed a collection of valuable and rare Buddhist scriptures, including silver plates with gold script.
