Description
Hyalinobatrachium valerioi, sometimes known as the La Palma glass frog or Valerios glass frog. Reticulated glass frogs can be found in the rain forests of Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador. Males are protective of their mates eggs. After the female produces eggs she leaves and the male stays on guard duty 24 hours a day until they hatch, protecting them from enemies such as wasps.
